Eden has supported the Store Room, in providing planning services related to the change of use of an existing non-food retail unit (Use Class E(g)) to a Self-Storage (Use Class B8) with
ancillary Office (Use Class E(g), including the insertion of mezzanine floor and refurbishment of the external elevations.
Eden’s role encompassed providing inputs to the design evolution; discussing the clients operational requirements to inform strategy; undertaking a detailed site appraisal and preparing, submitting and managing the full planning application.
The proposal has received approval under delegated powers within the statutory timescale and work will start on site later this year.
