We’ve secured planning consent on behalf of The Store Room for a new storage facility in Peterborough.

This latest scheme will deliver 80,000sqft of storage space within a new four-storey building. The facility will regenerate a long-term vacant site bringing new jobs to the area, both in the scheme’s construction and during its operation. It will also act as a catalyst for further investment, employment and improvement to this part of Peterborough.  

The Covid-19 pandemic has led to a significant rise in the number of people working from home, which in turn has increased demand for self-storage as people adapt to accommodate home working. Home working is here to stay, and that means a continued need for extra space at home to facilitate a suitable work environment.
