Planning submitted for a new mixed-use development in the heart of Altrincham.

Altrincham has one of the most distinctive and well-loved high streets in Greater Manchester. Working with our client Veriti & Co, Eden Planning has submitted a planning application for a stunning mixed-use office experience at 70-72 George Street, in the heart of the town centre and close to Altrincham Market.

It will introduce a vital mixed-use proposal, that will deliver a (currently) under represented Grade A office experience within the heart of Altrincham town centre, aimed at attracting and securing high skilled Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SME) looking to upscale from remote working or identify satellite offices outside the City Centre that reduce the need for commuting.

Together with vibrant, flexible floorspace for town centre uses at ground and lower floors the scheme will provide a number of direct and linked economic benefits for the town centre.

The plans, will deliver a complete visual renovation of the site, delivering an aesthetically beautiful building that takes cues from existing buildings along George Street, enhancing the historic character of the area.

We’ve been working closely with Trafford Council through pre-application discussions and we look forward to continuing this as the application progresses through to determination in early 2023.
