On behalf of our client, 1784 Holdings (UK), Eden Planning has been responsible for the preparation, submission, and management of a full planning application for the conversion of an underground car park into a self-storage facility located in the heart of Mayfair.

This site is strategically positioned within London’s Central Activity Zone and is surrounded by the South Audley / Mount Street Central Activity Zone Retail Cluster, highlighting its prime location within the city. Given the Site’s proximity to residential properties, it was important that the submission highlighted that the preservation of nearby residents’ amenities would not be negatively impacted as part of the development proposal.

The planning application was formally submitted to Westminster City Council this summer and is currently under review. Eden continues to manage the post-submission stage of the application to with anticipation to secure a successful outcome in early autumn 2024.
